Pentabell is seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Process Engineer for one of its clients in the energies sector. This role focuses on developing and verifying process designs for offshore oil and gas facilities, ensuring safety, operability, and full compliance with international standards and project specifications. It is a senior technical position suited for professionals with strong EPC project exposure.
Role Summary
The Process Engineer will lead and support the development of offshore process designs, from conceptual studies through commissioning, while coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop process design basis and perform process simulations
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and heat and material balances
- Support HAZID and HAZOP studies to ensure process safety
- Interface with engineering disciplines including piping, instrumentation, and mechanical teams
- Support commissioning and start-up activities for offshore facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- 8–12 years of experience in offshore oil and gas process engineering
- EPC project experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of process simulation tools
- Experience with offshore process systems
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards
